Please note: FLS will not be taking applications for new paralegal volunteers for the next 6 to 12 months due to an extensive waiting list. Overview

Fitzroy Legal Service is able to harness the social capital of approximately 200 volunteers to deliver a range of services during the day and night We offer legal advice service five nights a week and are the only legal service able to offer this level of service. We also have volunteers who contribute to the whole organisation during the day through administration, legal research and policy work. Without this contribution of many unpaid hours, Fitzroy Legal Service would be reduced to half of our capacity. The ramifications of this to the local community would be enormous.

Volunteer work is available Monday to Friday during the day or evening. We require at least one year commitment from our volunteers. We look forward to having you on board at some point in the future.
